If you have had Tioga out more than once, you may have met two men who look remarkably
alike. Terry Carter, our Service Manager, is Jerry’s twin brother — known as
T-Bone in the family, and never anything else once the shop door closes. He is a Master
Plumber with more than forty years serving Texans, and he anchors the RotoGator drain and
sewer side of the business, which is where the hardest calls tend to land.
Terry married Cyndi in 1980. They have two sons and three grandchildren, and like the rest
of the family they have spent their whole lives inside a twenty-minute drive of the shop.
That is not a marketing detail. It is why a Carter answers for the work: the customers are
neighbors, and the family name is on the truck parked in their driveway.
The same is true one desk over. Jerry Carter earned his journeyman license at 17 and his
master’s at 20 — read Jerry’s full owner bio and story
for how the shop their father Charles founded in 1953 became the company it is today.
