Privacy Policy

Plain English about what we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have. Last updated September 11, 2026.

The Short Version

We collect what we need to answer your call, quote the job, do the work, and stand behind it — and nothing we can’t justify. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not hand it to third parties for their own marketing.

Last updated: September 11, 2026. This policy replaces all earlier versions. It is a description of our practices, not legal advice.

1. Who This Policy Covers

This policy is issued by Tioga Contractors LLC, doing business as Tioga Plumbing (“Tioga,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a family-owned plumbing contractor at 136 S Norwood Dr, Hurst, TX 76053, working under Texas Master Plumber license M-13661. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website, call us, text us, submit a form, book online, or receive plumbing service anywhere in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex — how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

We are a Texas business serving Texas customers. This site is not directed to residents of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, and we do not offer goods or services there.

2. Information We Collect

  • Information you give us. Your name, phone number, email address, service address, the problem you’re describing, and any photos you choose to send through our online scheduler or job-application form.
  • Call data. The phone number you called from, the time and length of the call, notes our dispatcher takes, and — as described in Section 4 — a recording of the call.
  • Text-message data. If you opt in to texts, your phone number, your consent status, and the message history needed to service your request.
  • Analytics identifiers and cookies. Anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers set by our analytics and call-tracking tools, plus the campaign, referral source, and pages you viewed before contacting us.
  • Device and connection data. IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, operating system, screen size, and referring URL — the standard information every browser sends to every website.
  • Service and account records. Job history, invoices, warranty records, and Gator Family Membership status.
  • What we do NOT collect here. We do not collect or store payment card numbers, bank details, or Social Security numbers on this website. Payments and financing applications are handled by third-party providers on their own systems.

3. Why We Use It

We use your information only for the purposes below. Where we rely on your consent — text messages and marketing email — you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the service you receive.

  • To perform the service you asked for. Scheduling, dispatching, quoting, performing, invoicing, and following up on plumbing work.
  • To communicate with you. Appointment confirmations, arrival windows, technician-en-route updates, estimates, and answers to your questions.
  • To honor warranties and guarantees. Administering the workmanship warranty, manufacturer claims, and the Gator Family Membership.
  • For quality assurance and training. Reviewing recorded calls so our dispatchers get better and so we have an accurate record if a job is ever disputed.
  • To measure what works. Understanding which pages, ads, and campaigns produce calls and booked jobs so we don’t waste money on advertising that helps nobody.
  • With your consent, to market. Occasional seasonal maintenance reminders and offers, which you can opt out of at any time.
  • To meet our legal obligations. Texas plumbing licensing rules, permit filings, tax records, insurance, and responding to lawful requests.
  • To protect the business. Detecting fraudulent service requests, fake reviews, and abuse of the website.

4. Call Recording & Call Tracking

Calls to and from our office may be recorded and monitored for quality assurance, training, dispatch accuracy, and dispute resolution. Texas is a one-party-consent state, and by continuing a call after our notice you consent to the recording. If you would rather not be recorded, say so at the beginning of the call and we will accommodate you wherever our systems allow.

We also use call tracking. Different phone numbers may appear on different pages or ads so we can tell which one produced your call. That attribution data — the number dialed, the page you came from, the campaign — is collected together with the call. Call tracking is operational infrastructure for a 24/7 dispatch business: it is how the right plumber gets routed to the right job, and it is always active.

5. SMS / Text Messages (TCPA Consent)

When you sign up on our text-updates page, check the consent box on one of our forms, text us first, or otherwise opt in, you expressly consent to receive calls and text messages from Tioga Plumbing at the number you provided — including messages sent with automated technology — such as scheduling confirmations, appointment reminders, technician-arrival updates, estimates, and follow-ups about your request.

  • Message frequency varies with your service activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also call us at 817-484-5356.
  • Consent to receive calls or texts is never a condition of purchasing any service.
  • Your mobile number and opt-in status are never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing.

6. Cookies, Analytics & Measurement

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use them to keep the site working, remember that you dismissed our privacy notice, measure how the site performs, and attribute calls and form submissions to the page or campaign that produced them.

The tools we actually use: Google Analytics 4 and advertising measurement tags loaded through Google Tag Manager, and ServiceTitan call tracking (dynamic number insertion), which records which page or campaign produced a call. We do not sell the data they collect.

Your choice on this site. Our cookie notice offers Accept and Decline. We use Google Consent Mode: if you decline, the analytics and advertising tags run in a cookieless, non-identifying mode — no analytics or advertising cookies are stored and no data is used to personalize ads to you. Cookies that are strictly necessary to run the site and keep it secure stay on. Your choice is remembered in your browser and you can change it any time by clearing this site’s data. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we apply the decline automatically (Section 7). See Your Privacy Choices for every control in one place.

Controlling cookies in your browser

You are always in control at the browser level. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies for any site: Settings → Privacy (Chrome and Edge), Settings → Privacy & Security (Firefox), or Preferences → Privacy (Safari). You can also browse in private/incognito mode, which discards cookies when you close the window. Blocking cookies will not stop this website from working, though some measurement will be less accurate.

7. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

Do Not Track (DNT). Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” header, but the industry never agreed on what it means and no common standard emerged. Like most websites, we do not respond to DNT headers. We tell you this plainly rather than implying a protection we don’t provide.

Global Privacy Control (GPC). GPC is a real, machine-readable opt-out signal, and Texas law recognizes universal opt-out mechanisms. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as your request to opt out of targeted advertising and of any sale or sharing of your personal data, automatically and without you having to contact us. In practice we treat a GPC signal exactly like choosing Decline in our cookie notice: analytics and advertising cookies are switched off for you and no data is used to personalize ads. Strictly necessary site functionality, security, and call handling continue — those are how we run the business and answer your call, not advertising.

8. Who We Share Information With

We share your information only with service providers who help us run the business, and each may use it only to provide services to us — never for their own marketing. We do not sell your personal information.

Category Who What they receive
Website analytics Google Analytics (Google LLC) and similar measurement tools Pages viewed, referral source, approximate location, device and browser type, and anonymous usage identifiers.
Call tracking & phone systems Our call-tracking and business phone providers Phone number, call time and duration, call recordings, and which ad, page, or campaign produced the call.
Online booking ServiceTitan The name, phone number, service address, and job details you enter into the online scheduler.
Financing applications Service Finance Company, LLC and Synchrony Whatever you submit directly to the lender on their own application. We never see or store your credit application or card numbers.
Hosting, CDN & content delivery Our hosting, content-delivery-network, and DNS providers Server logs including IP address, timestamp, and requested page — standard for any website.
Email & messaging delivery Our email and SMS delivery providers Your name, email address, phone number, and message content, used to deliver what you asked for.

We may also disclose information:

  • To professional advisers — our accountants, insurers, and attorneys, under duties of confidentiality.
  • To authorities — when required by law, permit process, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the safety of our customers, our team, or the public.
  • In a business transfer — if the business is ever sold or merged, customer records would transfer with it, subject to this policy.

9. How Long We Keep It

  • Service records, invoices, and warranty documentation — for as long as needed to honor warranties and guarantee claims and to satisfy Texas licensing, insurance, tax, and limitations-period requirements.
  • Call recordings — retained on a rolling basis for quality assurance and then deleted, unless a recording is needed for an open dispute or claim.
  • Text-message and opt-in records — kept while you are opted in and afterwards only as long as needed to prove your consent status.
  • Analytics data — per our analytics providers’ standard retention settings.
  • Unsuccessful job applications — kept for a limited period in case a suitable role opens, then deleted.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

10. How We Protect It

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Form submissions travel over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and are routed only to our office team. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it to do their jobs. Our technicians are background-checked. We review our providers’ security posture when we choose them.

We are a plumbing company, not a security vendor, and we will not pretend otherwise: no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as Texas law requires.

Payment Security

This website never collects, transmits, or stores payment card numbers, bank account details, or financing application data. There is no card-entry field anywhere on this site. Financing applications are completed on the lender’s own secure, hosted application (Service Finance Company, LLC or Synchrony) under that lender’s privacy policy and security controls, and we do not receive your credit application or card numbers from them. Payments for completed work are taken by our office and field team through our payment provider’s own systems, never through this website.

11. Your Texas Privacy Rights

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) gives Texas residents rights over personal data held by covered businesses. Whether or not the law technically applies to a company our size, we honor these rights for our customers:

  • Confirm and access — find out whether we process your personal data and get a copy of it.
  • Correct — fix inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
  • Delete — ask us to delete your personal data, except what we must keep for warranty, contract, legal, tax, or security reasons.
  • Portability — receive a copy in a portable, readily usable format where technically feasible.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising — tell us not to use your data to tailor ads to you across other sites. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for profiling that produces legal effects, so there is nothing further to opt out of on those fronts.

How to exercise your rights

Email [email protected] or call 817-484-5356 and tell us which right you want to exercise. We verify your identity — usually by matching the contact details you give us against our service records — and respond within 45 days, extendable once by another 45 days for complex requests, in which case we will tell you why. There is no charge for a reasonable request, and we never discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization.

If we say no: your right to appeal

If we decline your request, we will tell you why in writing. You may appeal within a reasonable time by replying to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line. A manager who was not involved in the original decision reviews it and responds within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General.

Residents of other states with comparable privacy laws may exercise the same rights through the same contacts.

12. Your Privacy Choices — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Every control you have with Tioga Plumbing, in one place. This section was last updated September 11, 2026.

  • Cookies, analytics & advertising. Choose Accept or Decline in our cookie notice. Decline turns off analytics and advertising cookies and any use of your activity to personalize ads (Section 6). To see the notice again, clear this site’s data in your browser. We also honor Global Privacy Control automatically (Section 7).
  • Text messages. Reply STOP to any of our texts to opt out immediately, or HELP for help.
  • Marketing email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or ask us to remove you at [email protected]. Transactional messages about a job you booked are not marketing and will continue.
  • Call recording. Tell us at the start of the call and we will accommodate you wherever our systems allow.
  • Access, correction, deletion, and portability. Email [email protected] or call 817-484-5356. Texas residents: see Section 11.

Your California Privacy Rights — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We are a Texas plumbing company serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area and we do not market to California residents. If you are a California resident who visits this site, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) may give you the rights below, and we honor them for everyone who asks.

Categories of personal information we collect on this website (the tools named are the only ones in use):

  • Identifiers and contact details — name, phone number, email address, and service address — when you call, text, book through the ServiceTitan online scheduler, or apply for a job.
  • Internet and device activity — pages viewed, referral source, approximate location, device and browser type, and pseudonymous identifiers — collected by Google Analytics 4 and advertising measurement tags loaded through Google Tag Manager.
  • Call and text records — phone number, call time and duration, call recordings, and the page or campaign that produced the call — collected by ServiceTitan call tracking (dynamic number insertion) and our business phone system.

Selling and sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. The advertising measurement tags described above may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Your rights:

  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing. Choose Decline in our cookie notice, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser — either stops the advertising tags from using your data, with no account and no request form needed. You may also email us at the address below with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.”
  • Right to know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it, and who we share it with.
  • Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for warranty, licensing, or tax purposes).
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.

How to submit a request: email [email protected] or call 817-484-5356. We will verify your identity by matching the details you provide against our records, respond within 45 days, and let you know if we need more time. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission.

13. Children’s Privacy

Our services and this website are intended for adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not knowingly process the personal data of a known minor under 18 for targeted advertising. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

This website links to outside resources: our financing partners, our Google Business Profile, The Good Contractors List, the Better Business Bureau, manufacturer sites, and city utility and permit portals. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies and we do not control them. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party website, and a link is not an endorsement of their data practices. Review their policies before submitting information there.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.

16. Contact Us

For any question, request, or complaint about privacy — including a request to access, correct, or delete your data — reach us directly at [email protected] or by phone at 817-484-5356. We handle these requests; there is no ticket queue. For anything that is not a privacy matter — booking, an invoice question, a job already on the schedule — our general business inbox is [email protected].
